It's 11 minutes of calm... to help you let go of worry and tension in your body, to connect to yourself and your baby, and to feel nourished, centred and grounded.

It will help you drift off to sleep, or you can use it in the morning as a positive way to start the day.

These little beauties are designed to help programme your subconscious to tune into your natural ability to give birth, your strength and resilience.

Building up your self confidence and releasing fear is an important part of Hypnobirthing. Remember, your job is to focus on the type of birth you want, your midwives are there to worry about the 'what-if's'.

Feel free to print them to put up around your home. In doing so, you'll be creating a wonderful, safe, inspiring environment for you to enjoy your pregnancy in. When it's time to give birth, these affirmations will act as a trigger to help you relax, feel resourceful - whatever it is you need in that moment. You can print off a 2nd set to take to the hospital if needed, or have them as a pack to hold and flick through.

I have deliberately kept this birth plan template simple and open, so that you can add in whatever is most important to you. The design encourages you to be concise, so it’ll be easier for your midwives to follow. Just fill in using bullet points, or use with the Visual birth plan imagery if you like.

Please read my blog post before you fill this in, since there are some key guidelines, including how to tailor it for a hypnobirthing birth plan, and keeping it flexible to take any pressure off yourself.

WHETHER YOU'RE PREGNANT, OR LOOKING AFTER A LITTLE ONE OR TWO, THIS IS FOR YOU.

Being kind to yourself and taking care of yourself is just as important as looking after your baby. This short relaxation is about bringing in some self-love to your day, with a focus on some gentle gratitude and nourishing time out.

It can be done at any time of day and is recommended as a super alternative to putting washing away or swiping on instagram.

It's lovely to do it in bed or sitting comfortably on a chair at home. But it IS portable too, and is particularly nice to do when you have a moment when you're out and about. If you are pregnant and still commuting to work, try it on the bus or train.
